Join the skilled nursing team at Providence Care Hospital as a Part Time Registered Nurse. Provide essential care and support for patients with complex mental health needs in a supportive environment.
This role requires a current, unrestricted registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and recent experience in an acute psychiatric setting. As a Registered Nurse, you'll develop therapeutic relationships, create comprehensive nursing care plans, and ensure adherence to medical regimes to promote positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete nursing history from patients and families
• Develop goal-oriented care plans based on patient needs
• Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families
• Follow prescribed medical regimes accurately
• Manage deviations from predicted client response
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• BSc.N. preferred but not mandatory
• Recent experience in psychiatric care settings
• Current CPR certification required
• Strong decision-making and judgment skills
