As a Foot Care RN, you will conduct thorough assessments to identify risk factors among patients, especially those with diabetes.

Your role will encompass developing care plans, administering wound care, and ensuring that all patient documentation is up-to-date. Education is a priority, and you will inform patients and healthcare colleagues about effective foot care methods and prevention strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed assessments of patients' feet

• Develop care plans tailored to individual needs

• Perform wound care procedures for foot complications

• Monitor high-risk patients for signs of infection

• Provide education on foot care hygiene and practices

Requirements:

• BScN and registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Professional Foot Care Certificate required

• At least 2 years clinical nursing experience

• Knowledge of wound care, debridement, and infection control

• Strong communication skills for team collaboration
