As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients with mental health needs. You will collaborate with the RN and clinical team to address various patient complexities while developing goal-oriented care plans.
Your role is pivotal in guiding patients towards independence and wellness through professional nursing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete nursing histories from patients and family
• Develop goal-oriented nursing care plans collaboratively
• Perform nursing interventions for manageable outcomes
• Follow prescribed medical regimes accurately
• Re-assess and revise care plans based on evaluations
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Recent experience in an acute psychiatric setting
• CPR certification must be current
