As a Registered Nurse in the Assertive Community Treatment program, you will work collaboratively with other professionals to assess and support clients with additional physical complications. This role involves consulting on complex nursing needs, creating tailored treatment plans, and providing a range of rehabilitation services. Strengthen your skills while directly impacting client recovery and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build effective therapeutic relationships with clients
• Lead medication administration and provide medical support
• Conduct assessments and teach essential life skills
• Facilitate access to social and recreational resources
• Provide personal hygiene and grooming assistance
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Three years’ minimum nursing experience in mental health
• At least two years in a community-based role
• Experience supporting individuals in varied home settings
