Candidates must have a minimum of two years' experience in an Emergency Department and be registered with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing. In this role, you'll manage acute presentations, trauma, and triage responsibilities, leading collaborative efforts with interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and direct nursing care for patients
• Administer medications and document treatments
• Conduct rapid triage assessments utilizing CTAS
• Participate actively in emergency and code responses
• Ensure compliance with NSHA policies and procedures
Requirements:
• Two years of recent Emergency Department experience
• Active registration or eligibility with NSCN
• Current Basic Life Support Level C certification
• Proficient with electronic charting systems
• Must hold legal rights to work in Canada
