Enhance nursing education as a Long-Term Care Clinical Educator with Extendicare in Eastern Ontario. Play a vital role in delivering evidence-based training and competency development for staff.
This pivotal position involves collaborating with various long-term care homes to foster a culture of continuous learning and high-quality resident care. As a registered nurse, you will implement innovative training strategies and hands-on experiences, ensuring that staff are well-prepared to meet clinical demands. You will also assess training effectiveness and support the integration of best practices into daily care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver experiential learning activities for staff
• Facilitate clinical education programs for regulated staff
• Support workforce readiness through ongoing education
• Monitor and evaluate clinical competencies for safe practice
• Partner with leaders to identify training needs
Requirements:
• RN or RPN in good standing
• 3–5 years clinical nursing experience required
• BCLS/CPR certification essential
• Master’s degree in nursing or education is an asset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
