Mental Health Registered Practical Nurse

Provide specialized nursing care in mental health services as a Registered Practical Nurse. Collaborate with a clinical team to help patients achieve independence and wellness in a supportive environment.

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our mental health team. This role requires experience in an acute psychiatric setting and requires developing individualized care plans based on patient assessments. You will work closely with Registered Nurses (RNs) and other professionals, delivering effective interventions for patients with less complex needs to enhance their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct nursing history assessments with patients and families

• Create and maintain goal-oriented care plans

• Perform nursing interventions effectively

• Follow prescribed medical treatment accurately

• Reassess care plans and consult on unusual responses

Requirements:

• Unrestricted registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Recent experience in acute psychiatric care

• Current CPR certification
