Position: Part Time Registered Practical Nurse Role

In this important RPN role, you will provide safe and effective nursing care under full practice. Work collaboratively with an inter-professional team to assist patients manage their clinical conditions and transitions. The position requires dedication to meeting the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of each individual.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate essential nursing competencies for patient care

• Evaluate health status of patients with defined care needs

• Assist in prioritizing preventive and rehabilitative care

• Advocate for patients and involve caregivers in decisions

• Modify care plans based on patient responses

Requirements:

• Hold an unrestricted license with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Current CPR certification required

• College certificate mandatory; diploma preferred

• Meet medication certificate requirements

• Strong patient care evaluation skills
