The Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) role at Providence Care involves delivering safe, patient-centered care while collaborating with an inter-professional team. This position prioritizes understanding patient needs, evaluating health statuses, and modifying care plans based on individual responses. You will advocate for patients, engaging them and their caregivers in critical decisions regarding their care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive and effective patient care
• Assess complexities in patient health statuses
• Establish care priorities for overall wellness
• Support patients and caregivers in health decisions
• Evaluate care plans and adjust based on outcomes
Requirements:
• Active practicing license from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current CPR certification required
• College certificate required, or diploma preferred
• Valid Medication Certificate post-1985
• Ability to seek assistance when necessary
