Mental Health Registered Practical Nurse

In this role, you will collaborate within a multidisciplinary clinical team at Providence Care Hospital. Your responsibilities involve developing nursing care plans, performing interventions, and reassessing goals in an acute psychiatric setting. With your skills and experience, you’ll ensure adherence to medical regimes while providing critical support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete nursing history from patients and family input

• Develop goal-oriented nursing care plans with patient collaboration

• Perform interventions based on capabilities and resources

• Accurately follow prescribed medical regimes for patient care

• Reassess care plans to align with patient goals

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Recent experience in an acute psychiatric setting

• Current CPR certification
