Part Time Registered Nurse - Surgical Services

Location: Brockville

This temporary position spans up to six months, with extension possibilities, focusing on the provision of exceptional patient-centered care in the surgical services unit. You will maintain strict adherence to nursing standards while participating in various hospital initiatives geared towards quality improvement and safety. Your expertise will be pivotal as you provide support in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients in PACU

• Participate in quality assurance and risk management initiatives

• Engage in continuous professional development and training

• Support hospital activities to promote patient safety

• Utilize strong organizational skills in stressful situations

Requirements:

• Registered nurse with current Ontario membership

• Post degree operating room course completed

• IV certification and ongoing BCLS required

• Preferred: ACLS and PALS certifications

• Critical Care experience within two years preferred
