Join the Substance Treatment and Rehabilitation Team at Kingston General Hospital. As an NP, you will leverage your extensive nursing knowledge, clinically assess patients, and coordinate care plans to meet complex client needs. This role emphasizes autonomy and accountability in providing care through all stages of addiction treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive mental health and addiction assessments
• Develop and implement patient care plans and treatment protocols
• Advocate for clients and collaborate with diverse healthcare teams
• Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes to adjust care strategies
• Provide educational support to patients and families
Requirements:
• Current Ontario RN registration in good standing
• Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing
• Two years of community or hospital healthcare experience
• Experience in Mental Health & Addiction medicine
• Certification in prescribing narcotics and controlled substances
