Registered Practical Nurse for Mental Health

You will work in a collaborative clinical team at Providence Care Hospital, focusing on nursing care for patients with complex mental health needs. Your duties include developing individualized care plans, executing nursing interventions, and engaging with patients and families. Your ability to recognize patient responses plays a key role in the adaptive nursing care process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather nursing histories from various information sources
• Collaborate to formulate goal-focused care plans
• Implement nursing interventions effectively
• Follow medical regimes as prescribed
• Analyze and revise care plans based on patient evaluations
Requirements:
• Unrestricted registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience in an acute psychiatric environment
• Current CPR certification required
