Part-Time RPN Role in Forensic Psychiatry

This position focuses on providing comprehensive care to individuals with mental health challenges. Required qualifications include graduation from a Practical Nursing program and registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide psychiatric nursing care across hospital units

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and vital signs

• Administer medications and perform wound care

• Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary care team

• Maintain patient dignity and foster therapeutic relationships

Requirements:

• Diploma in Practical Nursing from an accredited institution

• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Two years' experience in psychiatric nursing preferred

• Recent CPR/AED certification

• Ability to engage with patients compassionately
