Registered Practical Nurse in Community Mental Health

Become a key player at Providence Care as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in Community Mental Health. This full-time position focuses on patient-centered care for those with mental health conditions.

Under the direction of the Community Team Manager, the RPN will provide nursing services that include medication management, client assessments, and the development of tailored treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage service coordination for individual treatment teams

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and treatment planning

• Collaborate with community resources and families

• Deliver crisis intervention and weekend support

• Lead medication administration and protocol development

Requirements:

• Registered Practical Nursing Diploma and certification

• One year in outpatient psychiatric care

• Preferably three years in inpatient settings

• Valid Ontario G Class driver’s license

• Access to transportation regularly
