The Royal is looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse (0.5 FTE) with a solid background in mental health care for its Forensic Unit. This position demands understanding mental health legislation and working with patients intersecting with the criminal justice system. Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage patient care for forensic clients

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings for care coordination

• Document treatment and patient progress accurately

• Manage crisis situations with effective strategies

• Conduct patient education and support services

Requirements:

• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Familiarity with mental health legislation is essential

• Up to three months of relevant nursing experience

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Current CPR certification is required
