In your role as a Registered Practical Nurse, you will be an integral part of the care team at Providence Care Hospital, focusing on holistic care to improve patient lives. You will handle a variety of responsibilities such as evaluating care needs, providing direct assistance, and advocating for patients. Essential skills include strong clinical judgment and the ability to collaborate effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide safe, effective patient care in a non-acute setting
• Assist in evaluating complex patient health needs
• Advocate for patients, engaging their caregivers
• Help establish care priorities for diverse needs
• Adjust care plans as per patient responses
Requirements:
• Active license to practice nursing in Ontario
• CPR certification current
• Nursing college certificate required; diploma preferred
• Medication Certificate dated post-1985
• Experience in a similar clinical role
