As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a critical role in assessing and treating patients facing substance use challenges. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care while upholding the highest standards of nursing practice and advocating for client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct mental health and addiction assessments for clients
• Develop individualized care plans in a collaborative setting
• Integrate research into clinical practice for improved outcomes
• Facilitate partnerships with community resources for client support
• Lead training initiatives and professional development for staff
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as an RN Extended Class
• Master’s level education with a specialization in nursing
• Two years of relevant health care experience
• Certification in Controlled Substances prescribing
• Current CPR and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training
