Join Bayshore Medical Personnel as a Full-time Registered Practical Nurse in Kingston, Ontario, specializing in Military Health Services. Provide essential patient care in various healthcare settings with a focus on assessments and vaccinations.
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN/LPN) with at least one year of recent nursing experience.
This role offers you the chance to work in primary and ambulatory care, supporting patients directly under medical supervision. Your responsibilities will vary, including conducting COVID screenings, assisting with vaccinations, and providing preventive care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient history and physical assessments
• Assist with vaccinations and COVID screenings
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Counsel patients on preventive health care strategies
• Provide direct patient care under healthcare provider direction
Requirements:
• Minimum one year of nursing experience in the last three years
• Graduate from an approved Practical Nursing Program
• Valid nursing license in Ontario
• First Aid and BLS certification
• Current N95 mask fit certificate
