As a Registered Practical Nurse at Providence Manor, you will provide professional nursing care and supervise support staff to ensure the highest standards of resident care. The role emphasizes compliance with health regulations and best practices while fostering relationships with residents and their families. You’ll also contribute significantly to among residents' physical, psychological, and social needs in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care according to RHPA and college standards
• Collaborate on resident care plans and assessments
• Ensure compliance with nursing practice standards
• Establish therapeutic communication with residents and families
• Lead as a liaison within the care team
Requirements:
• Current certificate of competence from College of Nurses of Ontario
• CPR certification
• Understanding of person-centered care principles
• Experience in long-term care settings
• Passion for supporting diverse resident needs
