Join Lennox and Addington County General Hospital as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse. Deliver high-quality patient care through your expertise, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
This role requires a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing services in the Emergency Department. You will work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends. This position emphasizes critical thinking, effective communication, and the ability to perform in high-pressure situations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Department
• Conduct triage assessments on incoming patients
• Operate within standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary medical teams
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with health regulations
Requirements:
• Graduate of a Diploma or Degree Nursing Program
• Current B.C.L.S. and A.C.L.S. certifications
• Two years of recent, related nursing experience preferred
• Capacity to handle critical situations with composure
• Committed to ongoing professional development
