In this role, you will provide direct nursing care to patients requiring mental health services, applying your skills in an acute psychiatric setting. You'll execute nursing histories, develop goal-oriented care plans, and perform needed interventions, always ensuring to follow prescribed medical protocols. Communication with patients and family members will be vital.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete comprehensive nursing histories with patient insights
• Develop and document nursing care plans with patient collaboration
• Perform interventions with manageable outcomes
• Accurately implement prescribed medical regimens
• Reassess and revise care plans as needed
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Recent experience in an acute psychiatric setting
• Valid CPR certification
