Bring acute psychiatric experience and current CPR certification to Providence Care Hospital as a full-time Registered Nurse. Support complex mental health care directly.
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide professional nursing care for patients requiring complex mental health services. You will partner with patients and families while collaborating with the clinical team. Your practice includes autonomous nursing actions, care planning, evaluation, and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families
- Complete nursing histories from available patient information
- Create and document goal-oriented nursing care plans
- Accurately follow prescribed medical regimes
- Revise care plans using professional judgment
- Recent experience in an acute psychiatric setting
- Current CPR certification
- Unrestricted registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- BSc.N. preferred
Use psychiatric nursing expertise, care planning, and autonomous decisions to promote positive outcomes for Providence Care Hospital patients.
