Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your quality inspection expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside skilled and collaborative teammates.

You'll ensure product compliance and support operational excellence in our manufacturing processes. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as production teams and quality assurance specialists), perform inspections, and validate reworks, among other responsibilities.

You’ll specifically take care of recording inspection results in digital tools, but also support Elementary Production Unit (EPU) managers in station-to-station handovers and quality animations.

The responsibilities include:

  • Performing inspections and ensuring product compliance according to the Quality Control Plan
  • Recording inspection results using industrial digital tools
  • Conducting workstation quality animations with EPU managers
  • Applying simple problem-solving techniques, such as 5W analysis
  • Managing and validating rework processes

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Associate degree, with a technical major preferred
  • Ability to read drawings and specifications
  • Familiarity with a variety of test equipment
  • 4+ years of quality inspection experience in the manufacturing industry, including the use of digital tools
  • Experience in operational activities and documentation management
  • Strong communication skills and a rigorous approach to work
  • Collaboration and teamwork mindset
  • Railway industry experience is a plus

Things you’ll enjoy

  • Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career.
  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines
  • Work with new security standards for rail signalling
  • Collaborate with transverse teams and supportive colleagues
  • Contribute to innovative projects
  • Utilise our dynamic and inclusive working environment
  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries
  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning
  • Progress towards roles such as Quality Manager or other leadership positions
  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension)

Compensation

The expected compensation for this role is $65,000 – $73,000 CAD per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
