Quality Control Technician at GIP

Join Green Infrastructure Partners as a Quality Control Technician, ensuring asphalt and aggregate materials meet specifications through rigorous testing. This pivotal role involves field sampling, data collection, and collaboration with site operations.

Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, this position supports the accuracy of material testing and drives decision-making through precise data recording. You will engage with diverse teams, oversee the transport of samples, and implement process improvements for laboratory workflows. A commitment to safety and adherence to industry standards is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead asphalt and aggregate sample collection from various sites

• Operate drilling equipment for hot mix core samples

• Ensure timely transport and delivery of site samples

• Collaborate with site supervisors and plant operators

• Identify efficiency improvements for field sampling techniques

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean record

• Ability to lift up to 25 kilos regularly

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Willingness to travel daily to site locations
