This volunteer role with Caribbean Vulnerable Communities spans five months, starting in August 2026, tailored for Canadian citizens or permanent residents. You'll analyze research related to the LGBTQIA+ community, reviewing findings with a gender-responsive lens while assisting the Eastern Caribbean Alliance for Gender Equality in similar efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review research on LGBTQIA+ experiences in the Caribbean
• Analyze findings using gender-responsive perspectives
• Support advocacy initiatives with research insights
• Collaborate with civil society organizations
• Attend training sessions to enhance support
Requirements:
• Degree in social sciences, human rights, or related fields
• Minimum 3 years in gender equality or diversity roles
• Experience with data analysis techniques
• Proven collaboration skills with NGOs
• Advanced English proficiency
