Qnity is seeking a Process Development Scientist with a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline, witha strong technical track record, and a passion for leading innovative technical programs in a dynamic and evolving environment. We are looking for a highly engaged candidates who can combine deep technical expertise with the ability to lead,inspire, mentor, and develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams.

As a Process Development Scientist, you will:
- Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary research team through all stages of project development, from idea conception to technology transfer and commercialization.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to investigate and develop new product formulations, and commercial scale processes.
- Employ data science techniques, including statistical analysis, machine learning, and modeling, to enhance research outcomes and improve process efficiencies.
- Investigate structure-property relationships in polymers to develop innovative materials that meet specific performance criteria.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various disciplines and maintain open communication to address technical challenges effectively.
- Author and review technical documentation, including patents, reports, and publications, contributing to Qnity’s body of research.
- Drive innovation in material processing methods and techniques, employing both experimental and modeling approaches.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, deep chemistry or chemical engineering expertise, and the ability to foster collaboration across technical and business teams. Flexibility and adaptability are essential as projects evolve and new opportunities emerge.
Required Qualifications- Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Science, or a related field, with substantial experience leading research and development projects.
