Seasonal Ambassadors at Lush are experts in product and brand knowledge, as well as providing exceptional customer consultations and product demonstrations. Seasonal Ambassadors cultivate strong team relationships and contribute to overall shop excellence in both sales and operations.
On the shop floor, they consistently surpass daily sales goals while creating a fun and inclusive team environment that keeps customers coming back for more. It’s about delivering personalized experiences and making a positive impact with every shopper.
Position:
Seasonal Ambassador (0-39 hours/week, Contract Role)

Kingston, Ontario, Canada
- Sales and Customer
Experience:
Drive sales using Store Force dashboard results, seek feedback, own your results, and contribute to the store’s overall performance. Deliver a world-class customer experience by listening, asking open-ended questions, and showcasing product benefits. Aim to leave customers with a positive impression and a memorable shopping experience. - Building the Brand: Educate customers on brand values (Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, Naked Packaging). Articulate these values in-store and through community initiatives to attract traffic and engagement.
- Product Knowledge: Continuously expand knowledge about products, ingredients, and benefits to confidently recommend solutions for customer needs.
- Team Involvement: Develop sales techniques and product knowledge, support team growth, and pursue opportunities to improve skills, knowledge, and abilities.
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB): Promote open communication, listen to team perspectives, foster belonging, and recognize each member’s contributions.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain punctuality and reliability, keep the store clean and visually appealing, adjust product displays based on sales data, and follow opening/closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety policies.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Experience with consultation-based customer service
- Strong problem-solving skills for day-to-day operations
- Teamwork experience
- Experience in skincare or cosmetics
- DEIB or social justice training; cross-cultural collaboration experience
- Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages
Pay: CAD 17.50 per hour
