Sales Associate

Requirements

• Previous experience insales is preferred but not mandator
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. Acts in the capacity as a Company salesperson, selling floor coverings, window coverings and all related products and services

• Close sales and ensure profitability for the store and adhere to store budgets
• Maintain company margins, gross margin dollars and targets
• Comply with proper Accounts Receivable procedures
• Maintain Store Presentation and overall Store Cleanliness (displays, rug piles, samples, etc.) in accordance with Company expectations
• Set floor schedules in conjunction with management to ensure adequate floor coverage during all store hours
• Manage installation and installers to maximize customer service and deliveries, give proper direction needed to install all jobs properly
• Respond to, address and solve customer complaints in a timely and effective manner for the customer and Company (within 48 hours)
• Ensure all products are displayed properly, tagged, priced in a timely basis
• Ensure advertising codes are accurately reported and entered on sales invoices

• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
