Sales Associate

Requirements

Previous experience insales is preferred but not mandator

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. Acts in the capacity as a Company salesperson, selling floor coverings, window coverings and all related products and services

Duties

Close sales and ensure profitability for the store and adhere to store budgets

Maintain company margins, gross margin dollars and targets

Comply with proper Accounts Receivable procedures

Maintain Store Presentation and overall Store Cleanliness (displays, rug piles, samples, etc.) in accordance with Company expectations

Set floor schedules in conjunction with management to ensure adequate floor coverage during all store hours

Manage installation and installers to maximize customer service and deliveries, give proper direction needed to install all jobs properly

Respond to, address and solve customer complaints in a timely and effective manner for the customer and Company (within 48 hours)

Ensure all products are displayed properly, tagged, priced in a timely basis

Ensure advertising codes are accurately reported and entered on sales invoices

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
