Loblaws is looking for a  Part Time Afternoon Cashier  to join the team at their  Kingston, Ontario  location on  1048 Midland Ave . About the Role:

Cashier Part Time Afternoon  As a  Cashier  at Loblaws, your primary focus is delivering  efficient and friendly customer service  at the register. You'll handle a variety of transaction types — including  cash and credit card payments  — while keeping your workspace tidy and well-stocked. This role also involves assisting customers with general questions and supporting in-store promotions as directed by the company.
You'll be part of a  unionized front-end team  that values collaboration, positivity, and doing right by customers. The position also involves  handling liquor products , including stocking shelves and processing sales at the cash register, so a responsible and professional approach is important at all times.
Benefits and Salary  This is a  unionized position  with a hiring range of  $17.60 – $27.44 per hour , set by the applicable collective bargaining agreement. The stated range reflects the starting range for this role. Responsibilities  Working the front end of a busy Loblaws store, you'll interact with dozens of customers every shift. Your ability to process transactions accurately and maintain a welcoming register area directly shapes the overall  in-store shopping experience .
Provide  great customer service through friendly and helpful interactions at the register
Scan  products and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
Handle  cash and credit card transactions with care and precision
Support  the delivery of company-directed promotions and in-store programs
Keep  the register area neat and stocked with essential supplies at all times
Assist  customers with general inquiries in a resourceful and courteous manner
Maintain  a positive store environment that reflects Loblaws' CORE Values
Handle  liquor products, including stocking shelves and processing sales at the cash register
