Position: Float Pool Security Guard Role
Serve on the front lines of security as a Float Pool Guard at Kingston Health Sciences Centre. Engage professionally with patients and staff to ensure safety.

In your role as a Healthcare Security Guard in the Float Pool at Kingston Health Sciences Centre, you will play a crucial part in maintaining safety across various hospital sites. Your responsibilities will include providing assistance to patients and visitors, conducting patrols, and responding to emergencies. You’ll need to enforce hospital policies while managing access control and documenting any incidents that arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain professional security presence across hospital environments

• Greet, assist, and support patients and staff effectively

• Conduct thorough interior and exterior building patrols

• Respond to emergencies and support incident responses

• Perform patient watches and enforce relevant hospital policies

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License required

• CPR Level C certification essential

• Minimum 6 months security experience preferred

• Strong communication skills in English

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
