Position: Full-Time Social Worker at The Royal
Location: Brockville

Transform lives at The Royal as a full-time Social Worker, specializing in mental health services for clients in crisis. Utilize your expertise in treatment planning and advocacy within a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

The position of Social Worker 2 is based at the Secure Treatment Unit of Brockville Mental Health Centre. You will engage with clients, families, and caregivers to implement creative recovery plans and advocate for vital resources. Supporting individuals with severe mental illnesses, you'll also document your work and participate in the education of Social Work students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide crisis intervention to seriously mentally ill clients

• Develop responsive treatment and recovery plans

• Engage families in clinical interventions

• Advocate for client services and resource needs

• Maintain documentation as per standards

Requirements:

• Master’s in Social Work from an accredited university

• Three years of mental health experience

• Good standing with Ontario College of Social Workers

• Knowledge of concurrent disorders

• Strong communication and advocacy skills
