As part of the John Howard Society, the position involves working directly with Indigenous adult clients to develop programs that foster wellness and personal growth. You will coordinate cultural activities and maintain links with community resources, ensuring clients receive the support they need. Your efforts will directly contribute to creating an environment conducive to rehabilitation and healing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support clients with cultural counseling and healing resources

• Maintain the sacred garden and oversee ceremonial supplies

• Facilitate access to educational and community resources

• Organize and implement Indigenous programs and activities

• Record client data and report monthly statistics

Requirements:

• Strong boundaries in institutional settings

• Relevant cultural education or experience

• Crisis intervention capabilities

• Independent working skills with minimal supervision

• Knowledge of Indigenous ceremonies and cultural practices
