Part Time Community Worker Vatcher Hall

Provide essential support at Vatcher Hall as a part-time Community Worker serving youth aged 16-24. Apply trauma-informed practices while promoting independence and well-being in a supportive housing environment.

In this part-time evening role, you will be the first point of contact for residents at Vatcher Hall. Collaborate with a dedicated support team and case managers to help youth experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Your key skills will include effective communication, crisis intervention, and relationship-building to foster a positive community atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor building access according to safety policies

• Greet residents in a respectful and supportive manner

Requirements:

• Diploma in a related field with 2 years of experience

• Training in trauma-informed care or crisis intervention

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Valid CPR/First Aid certification
