Part Time Community Worker Vatcher Hall

In this part-time evening role, you will be the first point of contact for residents at Vatcher Hall. Collaborate with a dedicated support team and case managers to help youth experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Your key skills will include effective communication, crisis intervention, and relationship-building to foster a positive community atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor building access according to safety policies
• Greet residents in a respectful and supportive manner
• Foster inclusivity and community engagement
• Provide guidance on available services and resources
• Support conflict de-escalation and problem-solving efforts
Requirements:
• Diploma in a related field with 2 years of experience
• Training in trauma-informed care or crisis intervention
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid CPR/First Aid certification
• Experience with youth from diverse backgrounds
