Enhance student success as St. Lawrence College's Off-Campus Housing Specialist. Drive the development of safe housing solutions and foster partnerships within the community to support student retention.
The role is pivotal for supporting students transitioning to off-campus living. You will innovate programs to create new rental opportunities while providing essential support during complex housing arrangements. Collaborating with students, families, and property owners is critical to creating a supportive housing network.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build sustainable partnerships for housing opportunities
• Organize educational sessions for diverse audiences
• Create non-traditional housing initiatives like Home Share
• Provide support for challenging rental situations
• Travel locally to various housing sites as required
Requirements:
• 3+ years in community housing leadership
• Degree in Social Work, Sociology, or related area
• Proven experience in housing program development
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Intermediate proficiency in office software applications
