Join Peer Support South East Ontario as a Peer Support Staff in Kingston, ON, contributing part time support for individuals navigating addiction recovery and concurrent disorders. Empower change through shared experiences and compassion.
This part time position requires 15 hours per week, with potential for additional shifts. Ideal candidates should possess a valid Ontario Driver’s Licence and be proactive in independent work. Lived experience in recovery plays a key role in supporting and guiding others.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate peer support sessions for clients in recovery
• Participate in ongoing training and skill development
• Maintain compliance with criminal record checks
• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ensure consistent attendance and engagement in work duties
Requirements:
• Ontario Driver’s Licence in good standing
• Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• Recent training in First Aid and CPI/SMT
• Strong lived experience with addiction
• Ability to work autonomously and as a team member
