Position: Student Support Counsellor for Inclusive Education
Help shape positive educational experiences for students as a Student Support Counsellor with the Limestone District School Board. Engage with at-risk students through essential support and strategic interventions.

In this engaging role, the Limestone District School Board seeks a Student Support Counsellor dedicated to working with emotionally and behaviorally at-risk students. Your responsibilities will include developing tailored support strategies, working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and community resources. Integral to the educational team, you'll be involved in implementing behavioral change programs and providing crisis support when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group support to at-risk students

• Collaborate in developing and reviewing Student Safety Plans

• Offer resources and strategies for positive behavioral changes

• Assist school personnel in managing crisis situations

• Commit to ongoing professional development opportunities

Requirements:

• Degree in Child and Youth Care, Psychology, or related field

• Experience with social emotional learning practices

• Strong skills in communication and problem resolution

• Possess a valid Ontario Driver's License and reliable transport

• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion frameworks
