Drive exceptional marine experiences as a Captain or Mate during the tourism season. Leverage your expertise in vessel operations and engage with guests for memorable adventures.
This role encompasses supervising crew and maintaining marine safety from late April through October. You will ensure adherence to Transport Canada regulations by conducting regular emergency drills and inspections. Your strong organizational skills will be key to documenting vessel operations and maintaining a pristine environment for visitors and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise all crew duties and safety procedures
• Execute detailed vessel operations and logs
• Conduct emergency and safety drills as required
• Check for safety compliance and vessel conditions
• Interact with guests, enhancing their onboard experience
Requirements:
• Proven experience in vessel management and crew leadership
• Understanding of marine safety regulations
• Problem-solving abilities in critical situations
• Fluent communication skills in English
• Assist in daily operations and guest satisfaction efforts
