Rooftop Loader​/Shipper and Receiver

Job Summary

Safely load bundles of shingles and related products to the roof. Safely load, unload, move, ship and receive product and inventory.

• Loading rooftops with bundles of shingles and related products
• Working closely and co-operatively with driver to ensure safe and efficient delivery of product
• Handling material by hand and with use of appropriate equipment
• Safely loading, unloading, moving, shipping and receiving product and inventory
• Ensuring orders are picked correctly, tagged and double checked
• Maintaining clean and organized work environments in the store and yard
• Strictly adhering to and complying with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation
• Other duties as required

• Requires physical strength/stamina and ability to work at heights
• Fall Protection/ Working at Heights training (asset, training provided)
• Valid Forklift License (asset, training can be provided)
• Ability to lift, push and carry 80–100lbs repeatedly
• Strong customer service skills
• Previous Warehouse and Forklift Experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset
• Authorized to work in Canada

Salary range: $20–22 per hour
