Help CN maintain secure rail infrastructure as a Rail Track Maintainer. Enjoy an outdoor, team-focused role ensuring the railway is ready for safe train operations. As a Rail Track Maintainer, you will inspect, repair, and replace essential railway components.
This position requires dedication to safety while enduring various weather conditions and performing physical tasks. You will work in a team to ensure track maintenance meets CN's high standards and contributes to economic stability.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain train rails, ties, switches, and ballasts
- Operate and maintain hand tools for track work
- Inspect and repair track surface deviations
- Install and repair street and railroad crossings
- Ensure railroad right-of-way is transparent and safe
- Relevant experience in safety or regulatory environments
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
