About the Role

Voyago is hiring School Bus Drivers in Kingston for the 2026/2027 school year. Part‑time and route‑support drivers will keep students moving safely each day.

• Safely transport students to and from school, ensuring a reliable and positive experience each day.
• Prioritize student safety at all times, including during boarding, transit, and exiting the vehicle.
• Conduct thorough pre‑ and post‑trip inspections to ensure the bus remains in proper and safe operating condition.
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the bus, assist with fueling and basic upkeep.
• Accurately complete daily Hours of Service reports and maintain required documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Immediately report any mechanical issues or concerns affecting the safe operation of the vehicle.
• Address and report any student behaviour issues in a timely and professional manner, following company procedures.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with safety practices, policies, and regulations.
• Demonstrate professionalism, patience, and care while fostering a safe and respectful environment for all passengers.

• Safety focused.
• Valid minimum full G class driver’s licence for at least 1 year; if you don’t hold a B or E class licence, full training is provided at no cost.
• 21 years of age or over.
• Clean driving record.
• Clean criminal record search with vulnerable‑sector screening.
• Sound knowledge of Kingston and surrounding areas.
• Ability to work independently.
• Available for required shifts:
  Monday‑Friday, approximately 6:00am to 9:15am and 1:00pm to 4:30pm.
• Solid communication skills.
• Enjoy being around children of all ages.
• Comfortable driving in all weather and road conditions and with large vehicles.
• Basic computer skills; can navigate Google Maps or GPS unit.

Part‑time Drivers — Secure a dedicated route for the 2026/2027 school year. Assigned a route from September through June with a set schedule and flexible split‑shift work.

Route Support Drivers — Provide coverage on routes, assist during busy periods, and support operations. Expect 12–25 hours per week with additional opportunities for extra hours. Hourly pay $23/hour for all hours including driving, admin time, meetings, etc.
