General Labourer​/Roller Operator seasonal

Dz Truck Driver – Full-time, Permanent (seasonal)

Coneen Asphalt is currently seeking licensed DZ Truck Drivers for the upcoming paving season (April-November).

• Pick up and delivery of various commodities to and from job sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection.
• Maintain proper hours of service and logbook.
• Operate and drive primarily dump and straight trucks to transport goods and materials on local and short inter-urban routes.
• Discharge material from the dump truck to flood the paver hopper.
• Effectively communicate with Foreman, Dump man, other team members and businesspersons.

• Valid DZ Driver’s License
• 3 years experience preferred
• Asphalt industry experience preferred
• Recent copy of your CVOR and Drivers' Abstract with your application.
• Working in inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
• High quality of workmanship.
• Effective team player, and communicator.

PLEASE PROVIDE AS MUCH DETAIL AS POSSIBLE WITH ALL PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE YOU HAVE AS A DZ TRUCK DRIVER.

In addition to the above, the successful candidate will be expected to exercise sound judgment, work safety, and communicate effectively in a team. This position may require physical labour such as crouching, bending, lifting, and kneeling.
