Voyago is now hiring School Bus Drivers in Kingston for the 2026/2027 school year!

We are currently seeking Part‑Time Drivers and Route Support Drivers in Kingston & surrounding region. Part‑Time Drivers will be assigned to open routes, while Route Support Drivers will assist with temporary vacancies and support future route opportunities.

• Safely transport students within your community to and from school, ensuring a reliable and positive experience each day
• Prioritize student safety at all times, including during boarding, transit, and exiting the vehicle
• Conduct thorough pre and post trip inspections to ensure the bus remains in proper and safe operating condition
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the bus, including assisting with fueling and basic upkeep to present a well‑kept, professional vehicle
• Accurately complete daily Hours of Service reports and maintain required documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards
• Immediately report any mechanical issues or concerns affecting the safe operation of the vehicle
• Address and report any student behaviour issues in a timely and professional manner, following company procedures
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with safety practices, policies, and regulations
• Demonstrate professionalism, patience, and care while fostering a safe and respectful environment for all passengers

• You are safety focused
• You hold a valid minimum full G class driver's license for at least 1 year
  • If you don't currently hold a B or E Class licence, Voyago has you covered—full training is provided at no cost to you!
• You are 21 years of age or over
• You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
• You can obtain a clean criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening
• You have a sound knowledge of Kingston and surrounding areas
• You have the ability to work independently
• You are available for the required shifts:
  • Monday to Friday approximately 6:00 am to 9:15 am AND 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm (Start and end times will vary depending on the specific details of each route)
• You possess solid communication skills
• You enjoy being around children of all ages
• You are comfortable driving in all types of weather and road conditions
• You are comfortable driving large vehicles
• You can have basic computer skills and can easily navigate Google Maps or a GPS unit

• As a part‑time driver, you'll be assigned a route from September through June giving you the stability of a set schedule while still enjoying the flexibility of part‑time, split shift work
• You’ll play a key role in safely transporting students each day and building meaningful connections along the way
• While routes may occasionally adjust for changes in student needs or programs, the driver remains on the route as long as there are no major location changes. This provides a sense of consistency and routine for drivers, students, parents, and school staff
