Seasonal Maintenance Operator

Join Emcon Services Inc. as a Seasonal Maintenance Worker/Operator at our Marysville Patrol Yard. This role is perfect for safety-conscious operators with highway maintenance experience seeking full-time hours.

Reporting to the Road Superintendent, you will handle routine and non-routine summer and winter operations. Responsibilities include plowing, sanding, drainage maintenance, and assisting in minor vehicle upkeep. Shift work and overtime may be necessary to ensure highway safety and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct summer and winter highway maintenance operations

• Perform activities like plowing, sanding, and traffic control

• Maintain highway surfaces and right-of-way conditions

• Assist with minor vehicle and equipment maintenance

• Execute additional assigned duties as required

Requirements:

• Minimum DZ license in good standing

• Preferred AZ license with relevant experience

• Background in Provincial or Municipal highway maintenance

• Friendly and courteous with the public

• Physically fit for highway maintenance tasks
