FedEx Handling

Position: FedEx Package Handling Role
Join Fed Ex in Kingston as a Package Handler and play a key role in freight operations. This part-time job involves loading, unloading, and sorting packages to ensure timely delivery.

In this position, you'll work from 2:30 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Candidates should exhibit good interpersonal skills and the capacity to efficiently lift and maneuver large packages. Completing required training is a must, and a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately load and unload freight at the facility

• Scan and sort packages for effective processing

• Adhere to safety and operational procedures closely

• Complete foundational and periodic training requirements

• Handle packages up to 150 lbs using the appropriate tools

Requirements:

• Preference for candidates with a high school diploma or GED

• Understanding of customs regulations is a plus

• Strong interpersonal capabilities for teamwork

• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs consistently

• Willingness to engage in ongoing training
