An outstanding school in Kingston upon Thames is seeking a passionate and committed Drama Teacher to join their successful and innovative Arts department. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of drama and be able to inspire and engage students at all levels.
Responsibilities:
Delivering high-quality Drama lessons to students in Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.
Planning and delivering lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum and departmental policies.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with students, colleagues, parents and carers.
Monitoring and assessing students' progress and providing feedback to students and parents/carers.
Participating in extra-curricular activities and school events.
Contributing to the development of the school's Drama curriculum and extra-curricular programme.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in Drama or a related subject.
Experience of teaching Drama at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
A strong track record of raising attainment and progress for students of all abilities.
Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills.
A passion for the performing arts and a commitment to the development of Drama within the school.
