This post is funded for the 2026/27 academic year onwards, so the successful candidate is not expected to commence before August 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Teach one or more GCSE Business courses and contribute to the development of existing and new provision.
  • Implement flexible and cost‑effective teaching and learning styles.
  • Prepare students for exams, mark class work, homework and mock exams.
  • Monitor students’ progress and support curriculum development.
Qualifications
  • Excellent teaching skills in GCSE Business.
  • Energy, enthusiasm and passion for the subject and education.
  • Ability to support, motivate and empathise with learners, including monitoring their progress.
  • Hard‑working, flexible, receptive to new ideas and initiatives with a creative approach to problem solving.
  • Experience of using new technologies to enhance teaching and learning.

Salary and Reviews

The successful candidate will be eligible for an increase in salary as a consequence of the annual cost‑of‑living review that will be implemented in the new academic year.
