This post is funded for the 2026/27 academic year onwards, so the successful candidate is not expected to commence before August 2026.

Responsibilities- Teach one or more GCSE Business courses and contribute to the development of existing and new provision.
- Implement flexible and cost‑effective teaching and learning styles.
- Prepare students for exams, mark class work, homework and mock exams.
- Monitor students’ progress and support curriculum development.
- Excellent teaching skills in GCSE Business.
- Energy, enthusiasm and passion for the subject and education.
- Ability to support, motivate and empathise with learners, including monitoring their progress.
- Hard‑working, flexible, receptive to new ideas and initiatives with a creative approach to problem solving.
- Experience of using new technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
- Annual leave: 40 days plus up to 8 additional days over Christmas/New Year.

The successful candidate will be eligible for an increase in salary as a consequence of the annual cost‑of‑living review that will be implemented in the new academic year.
