Permanent, Part Time (0.4) – £15,871–£19,094 per annum or Sessional £41.32–£49.71 per hour. Two days a week:
Thursdays & Fridays.
The School of Foundation, Intermediate Learning and Employability at Kingston College is looking to appoint a Lecturer to teach GCSE Physics with additional responsibilities as a personal tutor. The ability to teach another subject will be an advantage.
We welcome applications from newly qualified teachers.
Responsibilities- Teach GCSE Physics classes, including developing and delivering lesson plans, assessments, and student monitoring.
- Work with the Head of Section to ensure students meet and exceed target grades by providing high-quality student experience and outstanding outcomes.
- Contribute to teaching schemes, assessment schedules and student monitoring.
- Participate in self-assessment, timetabling, and staff development activities.
- Act as a personal tutor to support students’ academic progress and wellbeing.
- Hold a degree or relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject.
- Hold a teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one).
- Proven teaching skills in Physics and ability to support, motivate and empathise with learners.
- Experience in monitoring student progress and familiarity with academic quality standards.
- Ongoing, relevant continuous professional development.
