Job OverviewThe Commercial Industries and Access School at Kingston College is seeking a Sessional Lecturer with expertise in Geography to lead the delivery of A‑level Geography, with potential teaching on BTEC and NCFE vocational programmes across Levels 1–3, including Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Aviation and Cabin Crew.
Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of A‑level Geography and potentially teach BTEC and NCFE vocational programmes at Levels 1–3.
- Design engaging coursework assignments, develop assessment schedules, and monitor student progress.
- Undertake internal quality assurance and standardisation activities in line with awarding‑body requirements, supporting external quality assurance processes as required.
- Degree or professional qualification in Geography, Travel & Tourism, Tourism Management, Aviation Management or a closely related discipline.
- Teaching qualification (or willing to work towards one).
- Excellent teaching skills with substantial relevant teaching experience on A‑level, BTEC and/or NCFE programmes, and links to industry, external agencies and validating bodies, with an awareness of academic quality standards.
- High personal standards, ability to motivate learners, and good planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
- Eligible for salary increase from the annual cost‑of‑living review implemented in the new academic year.
